Descrizione
La massima lunghezza del maschio è di 15,2 cm, le femmine 16,17 cm; raggiunge un peso massimo pubblicato di 38.00 gr. Si nutre principalmente di anfipodi gammaridiani, con notevoli quantità di policheti erranti.
Diffusione
Si trova nell'Oceano Australe: Antartide orientale (Mar Ross, South Victoria Land, Weddell Sea). È un pesce marino demersale; distribuzione batimetrica 82 - 801 m.
